What Is the Energy Exchange Program?
The Energy Exchange Program is a volunteer-style opportunity where participants assist with front desk and studio operations in exchange for complimentary Pilates classes.
You'll help create a welcoming experience for our members while becoming part of the Sliving team.
Many of our Energy Exchange participants develop valuable customer service, communication, and studio operations experience—and some have even gone on to pursue instructor training or paid opportunities within our growing company.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities may include:
Welcoming members and checking clients in
Assisting with studio opening and closing procedures
Preparing the studio before and after classes
Cleaning and sanitizing reformers and equipment
Folding towels and organizing supplies
Restocking retail products and refreshments
Keeping reception and common areas clean and organized
Assisting instructors when needed
Supporting special events and community activities
Providing exceptional customer service
Responsibilities may vary depending on studio needs and shift schedules.

Follow studio policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and welcoming environment
Communicate promptly regarding scheduling

Program Details
Role Responsibilities:
Greet clients and assist with check-in.
Support instructors with class set-up and reset reformers/studio for closing
Maintain studio tidiness and a clean workout environment (Vacuum floor, wipe mirrors, re-set reformers, props, etc.)
Assist with social media posting, light administrative or client service tasks as needed.
Help with marketing campaigns,
Handle merch and classes payments on POS and the online platform;
New customers intake;
Direct customers to sign online waiver forms
Answer emails & calls & text messages/DMs
Commitment:
Minimum 7-10 hours per week at the front desk (minimum 3-month commitment).
Minimum of 2 shifts per week (roughly 3.5hrs, and during shifts you can take the complimentary pilates class
Shifts will be scheduled in advance and coordinated with studio needs.
Shifts are typically weekday evenings and weekends, but can also be arranged for weekday during the day depending on availability. Missed shifts without notice may result in forfeiture of program benefits.

Yes! Participants may attend a complimentary Reformer Pilates group class during their scheduled shift, subject to class availability.

No. A positive attitude, reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn are the most important qualities. Training will be provided for studio procedures.

Missed shifts without advance notice may result in the loss of program benefits. If you need to miss a shift, please notify the studio as early as possible.

No. All program benefits are non-transferable and are only available to the registered participant.
